A Bit About Me
Where do I begin? I got my start in photography when I learned how to use my dad's film camera that he brought with him to Vietnam when I was working on my Boy Scout photography merit badge. After 15 years of being just a hobbyist, I've honed my skills in digital and film and have become well versed in shooting certain niches of photography. My "bread and butter" is shooting airshows and rocket launches.

Now, my skills are finally being put to professional use. Daryl Sausse Photography is here to meet your real estate, architectural and commercial needs.

Aside from being an aviator, I love the thrill of shooting an airshow. It requires endurance and quick thinking in an environment where there's very little time to get the shot.
Astrophotography helps develop skills that are more out there from what the average photographer. It combines elements of precision tracking, planning and extensive post production work.
Aside from the excitement of seeing humans and complex machines leave our home planet, being a spaceflight photographer with press access has taught me a lot about planning ahead and planning for the worst. One of the more demanding genres of photography, there's only one chance to get things right.
